| Membership : (Rules & regulation) |

| 1. Eligibility for Membership |
Earliest is the first for consideration in library The Ladies & Children from the 7 to 15 years can earn membership.

| 2. About membership fee & deposit |
A. A form fee of membership form is Rs. 5/- & can be available from the library an entry fee is Rs. 15/-. It can be obtained from Smt. Prabhadevi J. Narayan Library, cenal road, Rajkot.
B. For reading in library monthly fee for one book is Rs. 8/- & for two books Subscription is Rs. 12/-
C.The member, who want to get one book should deposit Rs. 50/- & in case they can not give surity of running member Rs. 50/- should be credited on account of surity. The members who want to get two books should deposit Rs. 100/- & incase they can not give surity of running member Rs. 100/- should be credited on account of surity.
D. On sanctioning of membership for one book's deposit is Rs. 50/- & subscription of 6 months i e Rs. 48/- and for two books deposit is Rs. 100/- and subscription of six months ie Rs. 72/- should be paid & thereafter a card of membership will be given to the member. |

| 3. About the use of books of library |
A. Per member maximum two books can be issued.
B. A card given to member can not be changed & member has to read the book by self and book can not be given to any one else for reading.
C. A book can be kept maximum up to 14 days by a member. If to be kept more, first book should be presented in the library and no demand from other member for it - librarian can renew the book for more period.
D. For keeping the book more than permission period, member has to pay Rs. 1/- fine/Charge for it. On asking by librarian book must be return at the particuler time of his demand.
E. In case any fine charge or due amount pending with a member he has no right to get the book or to withdraw deposit.
F. The member who will not come for exchanging the book continuously up to six months and no reply of the instructions givin by him - his membership will be cancelled and if he desires to be a member again he has to submit a new application.
G. A member who do not wish to use the book more than six months, he has to intimate to library in writing or to keep amount of his deposit pending/reserved.

| 4. Duties & responsibilities of members |
A. Every member has to follow changes resulted administratively if any.
B. A member should check the books before getting for issue and ascertain that book/books is/are in good condition. In case any thing to say about it can brought to the notice of the staff on duty & while returning, the book should be in the same condition If any damage noticed charge should be paid for it otherwise can be deducted from the deposit.
C. If a book found lost or received back in not useful condition price will be recovered from the member & in case member failed to pay, the said amount will be deducted from the surities.
D. If a book found lost from the set. complete set should be return by the member.
E. If any change resulted in address of member or surities it should intimate to the librarian immediately.

| 5. about cancellation of membership & refund of deposit |
A. If it is noticed by the librarian that there are frequest changes and failure in fulfillment of these rules & subseaquent rules membership can be cancelled and due amount/charges can be recoverable from the member.
B. For voluntary cancellation of membership an written application should be given and up to the receipt of the application due amount should be payable by the applicant.
C. On cancellation of membership due amount of the deposit will be refunded.
D. To get the refund of deposit member should produce original receipt for the said amount of the deposit.

| 6. About time & stand of Exchanging the books. |
A. With orders of commissioner, stands for books distribution will be decided in the different areas of city. For this requirement of respective area will be considered. In the decided stands commissioner can change as & when required.
B. whenever at least 15 members are there, a stand will be kept.
C .Except fixed stand vehicle will not stand for books distribution
D. Every member should get & return the books on stand on the date & time fixed. |

| 7. General Conditions |
A. A member should not misbehave with librarian or any staff member on duty.
B. A member has to preserve the card of membership and if it is lost should intimate in the office 2-days otherwise membership will be cancelled.
C. Against the missing card a tamporary new card can be taken on filling up filed fee Rs. 2/- for it. & should get it.
D. To keep this library units, running & how much time keep standing, on which stand? it can be changed as & when required & decision of commissioner will be time for it.
