time. Also when visited personally they are not given
correct figures and than they have to pay bone breaking

The bills are not received in time and interest being
charged on arrears. There is no clarity on the calculation
for Education cess which is 3%. Interest is not being
waived despite these issues and is being compounded
unnecessarily. On the blog we can see some remark of 10%
discount - however this is only when we have come to this
site.
Lot more clarify and facility for online payment needs to
be introduced urgently apart from a solution to the
problems narrated above.

I have taken out print out of property tax for the year
2009,from your sight. A propert tax bill is an important
document for the propert owner. I have submitted to apply
for PAN No but same was not accepted by the concerned
Agency giving a reason that the name registered in the
bill is incoplete. The full name of a propert owner should
be registered in the bill for example it should
be "MRS.PUSHPABEN KIRTIKUMAR DAVE" and not "PUSHPABEN
K.DAVE"
The property bill does not indicate the last date of
payment of property bill and many people of Rajkot stay
out of India, out of state and out of Rakot would like to
make make the payment by cheque by post. There is no
instruction in the bill that a cheque is to be issued in
favour" MUNICIPAL COMMISSIONER RAJKOT" OR " RAJKOT
MNICIPAL CORPORATIOON" it should be clearly indicated in
the propert bill so that it will be easy to make the
payment of the bill.
I hope you will consider this and will make necessary
changes in propert bill.

The basis for accessing the ALV of property, should be
given on website, to eliminate confusions of assessment of
TAXES like, HOUSE TAX,CONSERVANCY TAX,DRAINAGE TAX, ETC.
This may also reduce the objections on account of
transperancy. House tax receipt is not reflecting the ALV
and Area of the property. Necessary changes may be
incorporated in software,as the information is there in
the record of RMC. Only a minor modification will print
the details on TAX Receipt.
Further, the receipt size should be reduced to half page
from FULL A-4 size. This may reduce the cost of
stationary, and save a lot of public monies.
